Job Title: CRM Lead

Organisation: Visit Britain/Visit England - Non-departmental public body and National Tourism Agency

Contract Type: 12 Months FTC (Maternity Cover)

Salary: Up to 60,000 DOE

Working Model: Hybrid - 2 days in the office/week.

Location: London - 3 Grosvenor Gardens, SW1W 0BD

Morgan Hunt is delighted to be working exclusively with our National Tourism Agency, Visit Britain/Visit England on their hunt for a CRM Lead.

The organisation work a hybrid working model where staff are required to work on site at least 2 days a week, however with the nature of this role they are allowing more flexibility. Candidates that are based outside of London and can only work remotely in the UK are equally encouraged to apply.

The ideal candidate is an experienced CRM professional with experience leading on the development of CRM platforms from scratch or experience leading a CRM migration. You'll be a strong strategist with the ability to provide strategic direction and oversight to drive adoption and migration, liaising with key stakeholders to identify business objectives and win the support of the organisation.

The key responsibilities of the CRM Lead

  • Collaborate with the British tourism industry and stakeholder facing teams to develop and deliver a B2B CRM strategy and processes, as well as action plans for customer acquisition, engagement and retention.
  • Introduce new CRM capabilities for the purpose of meeting emerging business needs and market trends. Sharing new and emerging CRM best practices across the business in order to give the business a competitive edge.
  • Lead and develop the CRM team through a matrix management structure, working closely with the CRM Senior Digital Product Manager and the CRM Second line support team
  • Monitor , identify, analyse and share trends across teams and their customer base, translating data so it can be applied to engage our customers, and develop a cross-organisational approach.

Skill/experience required:

  • Significant travel industry commercial experience with proven B2B experience and successes. Ideally familiar with the UK tourism industry with political awareness of how arms-length bodies function.
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering CRM strategies for a business
  • Comfortable taking calculated risks, able to readily embrace and lead change. Ideally change management experience.
  • Strong commercial acumen and business judgement, with the ability to communicate clearly to key stakeholders and members of staff up to and including Director level.
