We are currently seeking a hard-working and dedicated individual, to develop a long standing and progressive career within the construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of construction-related tasks on temporary building projects across the UK.

Role:

As a Construction worker, you will be part of a tight-knit team and follow direction from your supervisor and site manager, providing integral assistance in constructing / erecting temporary building frames, on sites located around the UK and Ireland.

Training is fully provided, but you will be eventually:

• Working at height using equipment including scaffolding, ladders, and scissor lifts
• Ensuring all sections of the build are securely fitted by riveting or bolting
• Able to accurately and safely handle and line up building parts
• Carrying out equipment checks and ensure equipment is used efficiently and in the correct manner to make sure any equipment damages are kept to a minimum

Travelling to projects around the UK and Ireland is an integral part of this role, which will see you staying away from home for up to 11 days at a time, so flexibility is a must. Overtime rates, company van and cost of living expenses are paid for whilst away.

Requirements:

• No previous experience required; however, some experience in a labour-intensive role is preferred.
• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labour for extended periods.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Health and safety awareness and understanding of construction regulations is ideal.
• A full and valid driving licence, or close to passing.
