up to c£23,000 per annum

We are working with a well-established Lexcel accredited, multi-office law firm, who are urgently seeking an experienced legal assistant, legal secretary or paralegal to support a busy childcare solicitor, based in Coventry. Parking is available on site.

The role will involve:

• Supporting a childcare solicitor
• Providing support for legal aid case work
• Handling legal aid applications, using the legal aid portal
• Dealing with guardianship orders
• Liaising with clients/guardians via telephone and face to face
• Attending meetings
• Audio typing from digital dictation
• Collating court bundles

Suitable candidates will have:

• Around 2 years'+ experience supporting a childcare team or childcare solicitor
• Experience of dealing with legal aid matters and use of the legal aid portal
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience of audio typing from digital dictation
• Experience of using a legal case management system

This is a full time permanent job working 9am to 5pm with an hour for lunch. The role is office-based, offered with a range of benefits including:
